Bury FC can confirm that DJ Pedro has joined Southport FC on loan until the end of the season, subject to FA approval.
Since joining the Shakers from Buxton during our North-West Counties Premier Division winning campaign, DJ has always been forthcoming with his desire to play higher and try to get back into full time football. This loan move allows DJ the opportunity to test himself in the National League North, and one step closer to full time.
On his departure, DJ shared the following message to the Bury fanbase: “Nothing but love for Bury FC. The fans, the staff, the lads – you made this a special place for me and I’ll always be grateful for the opportunity. Now it’s time for a new challenge on loan higher up, but Bury will always have my respect. Thank you for everything. UTS”
