There will be a pitch inspection at 11:15 am due to concerns over the playing surface at Gigg Lane.
Concerns were raised before Thursday’s game and due to weather before and during the game the pitch deteriorated quite badly, with only light remedial work having taken place yesterday due the pitch condition.
We want to make sure that the surface is both safe and playable for both teams.
If the pitch is deemed playable tickets will go back on sale for the South Stand, with pay on the day available in the Cemetery End.
We will update as soon as we can after the referee has inspected the pitch.
