We’d like to place on record our thanks to Macauley Wilson, who has departed the club today by mutual consent.
Macauley joined us from Bamber Bridge in the summer, with a wealth of experience. He made nine competitive appearances for the club, scoring once against AFC Liverpool.
Living in the Blackpool area, he was travelling a distance to commute for training & matches and has car shared with fellow players who live in the area but given recent injuries to those players, it’s found Macauley in a difficult position to get to training and following discussions with Dave McNabb this week he has decided to depart Gigg Lane.
Macauley had the following message for The Shakers fans.
Firstly id like to say a big thanks to the gaffer for bringing me to a club like Bury it was proud moment for me , I have zero doubt this team can go onto winning this league theres so much talent throughout the squad , thanks to those fans who welcomed me and stuck with me through the good and bad performances , all the best Macca.
We would like to wish Macca all the best in the future.
