Dave McNabb’s side continue preparations for the new season with a trip to the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium this Saturday to take on Buxton in a pre-season friendly.
With valuable minutes under the belt from recent outings, the Shakers will be looking to build fitness, sharpen combinations, and test themselves against a strong Buxton side.
It’s another important step in the build-up to the new campaign, as the squad continues to gel and fine-tune under competitive conditions.
We picked up a 2-1 win against Ashton Athletic on Tuesday night, Tyler James and Connor Pye on the scoresheet.
