The club has received the following message from Ramsbottom United following Saturday’s game at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium:
On behalf of everyone at Ramsbottom United, may I pass on my thanks to the Bury supporters for their exemplary behaviour at the game on Saturday.
Their presence helped us to achieve a record home gate for the club of 2,138, and the support they offered your team throughout the 90 minutes was first class.
The whole afternoon presented us with no problems, and it was a pleasure to host the fixture.
We wish you well in the play-offs, but if you are unsuccessful, we look forward to welcoming you back to “Rammy” next season.
Your fans are a credit to Bury FC.
Kind regards, Tony Cunningham, Secretary, Ramsbottom United.
We would also like to thank our supporters in line with Tony’s comments above, and for adhering to our requests to remain in the stands at all times. It is of great importance that we all work together to make the matchday experience a special one, for all supporters.
We take this into the playoffs now! UTS
