Following Bury 4-3 defeat away at Lower Breck defender Gaz Peet spoke to the club giving us his thoughts on Saturday’s game.
Gaz Peet: “I mean to get to this point of the season undefeated was unbelievable I think the lads have worked hard and are disappointed with today. It’s I think the manner of the goals we conceded we’re great and I don’t even remember the last time we give so many chances away to a team and it was just one of them days and we’ve had too many of them this season and I know how good this group is so we won’t have many more.”
Gaz then talked us through the last 10 minutes of the match saying: “We’ve got quality all over the pitch so when you’ve got lads at the top end of the pitch who can give you that little bit extra so it’s not surprising, it would’ve been nice if we didn’t concede the fourth in the way we did and that just gave us too much to do and yeah it’s not surprising we got back into the game we just did it too late and in the end I know we had a couple chances where we could’ve got a point but the lads tried and they left everything out there on the pitch but first half let us down a little bit.”
Gaz then finished the interview by giving the fans a message ahead of next weekends match, he said “I mean this groups got something I’ll tell you that, it’s a great group and they’ve got quality everywhere so get yourself down again and I’m pretty sure we can turn everything around I mean its not even all that it’s one loss and we’ve got plenty more to come and this won’t define our season losing away to Lower Breck so stick behind us and support us.”
