After a dominant performance by Bury to seal a 4-2 win over Burscough defender Lewis Earl spoke to the club about the game.

Lewis Earl: “It was a game of two halves I thought in the first half we were unbelievable getting 4 goals and looked dominant but in the second half we didn’t but luckily we got the 3 points and got onto the next game.”

Lewis than spoke how he felt in that period during the second half where Burscough were on the ascendancy saying “It was a tough game and it’s very windy when you come to places like this because they had the wind and when the keeper kicks it long it goes long it’s just so it’s difficult as you’ve got to win more duels and just see it out which we didn’t really do to be fair as we conceded two sloppy goals and it makes it more difficult so we need to improve on that.”

He than spoke about how the goals conceded today we’ll need to be something they put right for Wednesday saying “Yeah definitely, we’ll look at that and we need to concede less and we know that and luckily we’ve got the players who can score 4 goals a game but we shouldn’t need to score to win by doing that if we score 4 we should be winning 4-0 but it’s sloppy goals and we’ll work on that.”

Lewis than spoke about the need for the 3 points today after last week defeat to Lower Breck he said “Definitely, we’re gutted we weren’t going to win every game, and we know that, but it was good to get the 3 points today and we just need to build on that.”
