Bury won 1-0 to extend their lead at the summit to 7 points, goalkeeper Mitch Allen spoke to the club to give us his thoughts on the game.

Mitch Allen: “Yeah, it’s nice to get the win, but ideally four or five definite goals we should have had. It’s nice to get the clean sheet, as always, we’ve made it seven on the bounce now, hopefully next week we can make it eight.”

He then spoke about how Bury keep racking up the clean sheets this season he said “Yeah, definitely. It’s always frustrating because a lot of the goals we’ve been conceding have been at the very end of games, which has cost me my clean sheet. So, yeah, to get a few on the bounce and getting them added up now for the end of the season, it’s nice.”

To finish the interview, he then spoke about what its like playing behind a back 3 with Louis Jeanne, Aiden Walker and Reece Kendall with him saying “Yeah, it’s good, like three new names in the squad. We’ve all gelled, and it’s worked well.”
