After the Shakers 4-2 win over Burscough Patrick Jarrett gave his thoughts to the club on the game after his first start for the club.
Patrick Jarrett: “I thought as a whole it was positive in the first half we looked a real threat every time we went forward and we kept winning it back high up and we went forward with purpose but yeah the first half was good but in the second half I don’t think we really found our groove really what’s a bit of a shame considering we did so well in the first half so it’s about piecing both halves together and putting in complete performances but on the whole it was positive.”
Patrick than told us what the half time message was after a dominant half what saw Bury take a 4-0 lead into the break, he said “it was just more of the same really and you know we were winning the ball high up and the press looked decent and just more of the same really, but it didn’t really go that way what was annoying really and they came out in the second half what is what the manager said and we couldn’t find a way of dealing with that but we grounded out another 3 points and that’s the main thing.”
Patrick than looked ahead to the midweek game against Litherland REMYCA saying “It was disappointing to lose against Lower Breck, so we needed to put that right and get the 3 points and that’s what we did. It’s a massive game Wednesday and it’s a quick turnaround we’ll train on Monday, but we need to be right for it and we need to be in the right mindset for it and get the 3 points and carry on the momentum
