We are delighted to announce the signing of defender Aiden Walker from Farsley Celtic.
The 25-year-old who can play at both right back and centre back, started out at Barnsley before a move to Mansfield in 2019.
Walker picked up non-league experience in loan spells at Leek Town and Grantham Town during his time in the East Midlands.
In 2021, he joined NPL side Brighouse Town before a move to Guiseley in the summer of 2023, where he was a main stay in their defence playing 42 times in the league.
He made the move up to the National League North this season with Farsley Celtic, where he has made eight appearances, including in Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Warrington Town.
Speaking to buryfc.co.uk, Walker said: “‘I’m delighted to be here. It’s such a big club with great fans and I cannot wait to be playing in front of you all!
“I know what it means to the fans to get the club back to where it belongs, so I’m hoping to come in and help keep clean sheets and push towards getting promotion in what is going to be a tough but exciting end to the season.”
