Bury FC are delighted to welcome centre-back Jimmy Moore to the club ahead of the 2023/24 season.

The 35-year-old brings a wealth of experience in non-league football having previously won the North West Counties Premier Division title at Runcorn Linnets.

Moore also spent the last three seasons at Bury AFC under Andy Welsh making 75 appearances, scoring five goals, and making a cameo appearance between the sticks.

The no-nonsense centre-back counts Glossop North End, Atherton Collieries, Cheadle Town, Abbey Hey & Trafford as his former clubs.

Jimmy told buryfc.co.uk “I’m delighted to have signed for Bury FC, it’s been an incredible journey so far. I’m proud to be a part of it and represent such a big club.

“I’m really excited to meet all the Bury fans from both sides of this story and I hope that when I cross that line the ones who haven’t will understand what it means to me to play for this club.”

Moore becomes the 15th player to commit to the club ahead of the new season, which sees pre-season training start next week before our double-header trip to Thackley on July 1st.
