Will it ever stop raining? It seems like it hasn’t stopped for months, doesn’t it? We look to “go again” after our Tuesday night fixture against fellow promotion hopefuls Wythenshawe was rained off due to a waterlogged pitch. We have to celebrate the work of our grounds team and volunteers who have worked hard throughout what has been the wettest February on record to get games on but unfortunately on Tuesday, after an afternoon of rain, they were left with no time to clear the pitch

This weekend our fixtures across both men’s and women’s first team games will celebrate women in football, and in sport in general, as we endorse the ‘Her Game Too‘ message. The club is affliated with the #HerGameToo movement, an organisation founded in May 2021 with the aim of raising awareness and educating others on the importance of inclusivity and diversity in sports. Dec Daniels (left) was the winner in January In another cracking month of results, we moved up to the top of the league with four wins and a draw. The time has come to choose your away colours for the 2024/26 seasons. Our current policy is to rotate kits every two years, to reward supporters for buying replica kits and keep them up-to-date for longer. As we started the 2023/24 season with two new kits, home and away, we need to break this rule just once so that home and away kits are changed in alternate years. On Saturday Dave McNabb’s men made it thirteen Nortwest Counties Premier Dvision games undefeated with a 1-0 victory over Glossop North End.
