One of the stars of the season has without a doubt been Darius Palma. He’s arguably been our top performer so far. Unfortunately, the shoulder injury he sustained first at Wythenshawe Town, and then more seriously at Padiham requires surgery. Paying for this privately should see him back by January, but it’s unlikely we will see him back this season without private medical care. The cost of the surgery is £8,000, which is way beyond the entire season’s medical care budget f

Bury opened the scoring on 14 minutes through Andy Briggs, with the Shakers holding onto that lead until just after the break, when Steven Yawson equalised for Kendal. Our FA Cup journey continues as head over to Charnock Richard this weekend for the first preliminary round tie at Mossie Park. We overcame Uttoxeter Town in the last round, with a 4-1 win at Gigg Lane. Uttoxeter took the lead early in the first half from a deflected effort, before Lowe and Higgins took us into the break with a 2-1 lead. Further goals from Lowe (again) and a late Connor Comber penalty was enough to take us through in front of 2,900 supporters. Catch up with the highlight
