Tyler will use this loan spell at the club he joined us from to gain some game time. He will be available for their fixture tomorrow.
He said: “I’m going out on loan to Padiham to get some game time and build my match fitness. I know that with a bit of confidence and a few goals, I’ll be right back to my best. If I got that chance right now, I don’t think I’d show you what I’m truly capable of.
“This chapter isn’t over. I’ll see you all in blue and white again soon. Thank you all for how you’ve taken me in and made me feel so welcome. For now, it’s just a short goodbye — I’ll be back soon, better than ever.”
We’ll keep you updated on Tyler’s progress throughout his time at Padiham.

It’s not only the results or the scorelines that give us confidence but the way we’re playing. In two successive matches – one against the team then top of the league – we’ve scored four goals in the first half-hour.
It helped that all four games in September were at home. But the rest of October will be a challenge, because we don’t return to Gigg Lane until November 1.
The trip to Sporting Khalsa will be a good test for us. We’ll go there ready to give our all, knowing that in football, nothing’s ever guaranteed.
The lads will really appreciate all the support from those making the journey to the West Midlands, your energy and noise make a huge difference. Let’s get behind them and show what we’re about. Up the Shakers!
In Opposition – Sporting Khalsa
Khalsa are in 17th place, with just 11 points from 13 games. They were robbed of a much-needed victory late in their 1-1 draw at Kidsgrove Athletic on Tuesday, and will take heart from that performance. And in any case they’ll be as determined as every team we face to put one over on us.
The club was founded by the local Sikh community in 1991, and in 2010 became the first Sikh-owned football club in Britain to buy a ground.
It took over the Aspray Arena from Banks’s Brewery, and has since made major improvements. The club runs a wide range of teams, and hosts a wide range of community activities.
Admission & Tickets
Sporting Khalsa are not making this match an all-ticket fixture; however have strongly advised all supporters to purchase tickets in advance via our website to ease congestion on our turnstiles and to make entry much quicker.
The capacity of the stadium is in excess of 3,000.

James Neild has joined the club and will soon be ready for action. He had been carrying a small groin injury that we didn’t want to take any chances on and wanted him to be back and at 100% before he first puts on the famous white shirt. Expect to see James make an appearance for the Under 21’s at Gigg Lane on Sunday before being integrated into the first team when the opportunity presents itself.
Aiden Walker has unfortunately been given the news that he needs surgery on his shoulder. The medical team is working with Aiden to find the best surgeon possible and he has the full support of the club during his absence. Aiden will likely be unavailable for 10-12 weeks post surgery.
Scott Duxbury has now made a full recovery following the unfortunate incident that left him requiring surgery to insert two metal plates into his cheek to help secure a fractured cheek and eye socket. Scott has done all of his rehabilitation, has been back in to full contact training and is now ready for competitive action. It’s likely that Scott will go out on a short term loan for some game time.
Bobby Carroll is now back fit and available following an ankle injury suffered during the absconded game away at Runcorn Linnets. Bobby made his come back from the bench in Tuesday nights win over Wythenshawe Town.
Callum Spooner has started to step up his rehabilitation following a back injury and labral tear to his hip. It’s been a long, complicated and frustrating road to getting a diagnosis for Callum but now we have a full rehabilitation plan and he’s progressing as planned.
Owen Robinson continues to make progress following his ankle injury that has kept him out since preseason. Owen is due to start full contact training this week which is a huge milestone in his recovery. I expect him to be back in contention within the next 3-4 weeks.
Regan Riley has unfortunately suffered a very slight pull in his hamstring which will keep him out for about a week. We will continue to monitor Regan and hope he is back on the pitch as soon as possible to continue his brilliant form.
I’d like to say a huge thanks to the medical team, Aidan before moving on but particularly Alan Raw for his brilliant work with all of the injured players. Yes, it’s part of the game but the mental as well as the physical impact of being injured can have on players is immense. The lads knowing they are in the best hands possible makes it just that little be easier. I’d also like to thank the board for all their support in getting the players scans and external expert opinions to help diagnose the more complex injuries that we’ve suffered.

This behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. It undermines the hard work of the club, the enjoyment of supporters and the reputation of Bury FC. Anyone found responsible for throwing objects or engaging in antisocial behaviour will face appropriate action, including removal from the ground and further sanctions.
As a reminder, previous sanctions have already included the prohibition of alcohol and the early closure of bars on matchdays. We will continue to closely monitor behaviour and alcohol consumption in specific sections of the stadium, and if the situation does not improve, further restrictions will be introduced without hesitation.
We ask all fans to take pride in representing our club positively, ensuring Gigg Lane remains a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment for everyone.

Our stunning victory over Chasetown on Saturday knocked them off the top and kept us among the leaders. We’re only one point behind new leaders Avro and have played two matches fewer.
The attitude of our players and quality of their football was worthy of way above Tier Eight. To score four quality goals against the league leaders in less than half-an-hour was breathtaking.
This game is the second of only two we have at Gigg Lane during October. Our regular 3,000-plus gates are a great encouragement to the lads, and – along with the noise – intimidating to opponents.
So please don’t fail to get along and support the lads with more of that noise. Be part of the amazing things happening at Gigg Lane.
Up, up, up the Shakers!!
In Opposition – Wythenshawe Town
There’s a big gap between our position and Wythenshawe’s. They could manage only a draw at Newcastle Town on Saturday and are three places from the bottom.
We’ve already beaten them twice this season in the Isuzu FA Trophy first qualifying round. We won 3-1 in the first game and 2-1 in the replay ordered by the FA.
The fact that we were thrown out of the competition shows no one here was to blame for our inclusion of a player with an outstanding red card.
On the Day & In the Ground
Our Matchday @ Gigg guide is available to read to find out everything you need to know going on in and around the ground.
Tickets are still on sale via our ticketing page on our website. Pay on the gate will also be available.
Starkies will be open at the normal time of 6pm for supporters to access from the Manchester Road End entrance before kick-off. This will be on a first-come, first-served basis up to capacity, which will be managed on the door. Starkies will remain open throughout the game (for those in the main stand only) as well as after the game.
