Gigg Lane: Own the Turf

This is your chance to own a little bit of Bury Football Club history.

In readiness for the introduction of a 3G pitch at the home of the Shakers this coming summer, the club are making 500 pieces of the hallowed turf available for supporters to purchase before the redevelopment takes place.

The turf will be presented in a seed tray (approx. size – 344mm x 214mm x 52mm), and available from Gigg Lane for COLLECTION ONLY.

Purchasers will be informed when the turf will be ready for collection, which will be on completion of the season. 

The cost per piece is £20 (inc VAT & booking fees), with all funds raised going to Bury Football Club.

Own one of the spots where Legends made their mark, by also entering the raffle to be in with a chance to win one of the Gigg Lane penalty spots!

Take home your part of Gigg Lane history, a symbolic piece of the pitch where our star-strikers of the past – Mark Carter, Andy Bishop and Ryan Lowe, as well as some of the new breed in Benito Lowe and Dec Daniels have all struck for the Shakers from 12-yards.

The draws will be separate for each penalty spot, so make sure you purchase a ticket for both to be in with a chance of winning.

The winning ticket will be drawn following completion of the season, with the winning ticket holder informed to arrange COLLECTION ONLY from Gigg Lane.

The cost per raffle ticket is £10 (inc booking fees), with all funds raised going to Bury Football Club.

Football Special to Rammy: Sat 20th April

Bury Football Club are delighted to announce we have teamed up with the East Lancashire Railway (ELR) to offer a ‘Football Special’ service to travel in style for our final league game of the season at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium against Ramsbottom United on Saturday 20th April.

ELR are kindly offering all fans a 10% discount by using the promo code ‘BURYFC’. Click on the image below to buy your tickets for the day:
    A diesel service will leave Bury at 13:20, and a steam service will leave at 14:12 following the River Irwell the up to Ramsbottom in time for kick-off.

A delayed return train to allow supporters time to get to the station, departing Ramsbottom at 17:25 and will be arriving back into Bury Bolton Street Station for 17:39.

Services Day – Sat 6th April

We are offering free entry to our Armed Forces for our game against AFC Liverpool this weekend.

Bury has a rich military heritage and as part of the club’s commitment to reaching out to all members of the local community, and building on Bury Council’s support which saw them awarded the ‘Gold’ award in the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, we are offering the opportunity to all serving personnel and veterans to be at Gigg Lane for our important game as the season comes to a close.

To be #PartofIt, head to the hospitality entrance within the Main Stand at Gigg Lane on the day (from 1.30pm) to present your ID and recieve your entry ticket*.
