In our opponents’ last league fixture, they were also victorious 4-1 against Salford City FC, with mixed form throughout the season so far. They currently sit 7th place in the league table with 4 wins, 1 loss and 4 draws.
The team look to maintain momentum following our progression in the Manchester FA Women’s Challenge Cup. The team sit 9th place in the league standings on 7 points, with a positive result seeing a further stretch made away from the bottom of the league. Bury have won 4 and drawn 1 in the last 5 matches in all competitions.
Last season, both teams played each other in the league cup and the game was a draw after 90 minutes, with Bury losing out on penalties. This time around, the ladies look to get a result and produce a solid performance in the league to make up for last season’s upset.
The game will kick off at 2pm, taking place at Kearsley Academy in Bolton due to a waterlogged pitch at Gigg Lane.
Let’s hope the team can produce a solid performance and pick up another victory!

It’s back-to-back cup matches for Dave McNabb’s side after Tuesday’s league fixture with Pilkington was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
McNabb is taking a full squad up the A56 to take on the Rams, but could look to introduce players from our Under 23s squad who are also available for selection.
Ramsbottom come into the game off the back of an FA Vase win on penalties against Bottesford Town, last Saturday and despite the club proximity, it’s the first time the clubs have faced each other competitively, a number of friendlies have been played down the years at the iconic Harry Williams Riverside Stadium.
The Rams have won three of their last six games, all of those wins have been in cup competitions. Twice in the FA Vase and the other being in the previous round of the Macron Cup in a 3-0 win over Nelson at the HWRS.
Tickets – Pay On The Gate
Adults – £9
Concessions – £5 (U16s & Over 65s)
The Harry Williams Riverside Stadium is a CASH ONLY stadium, so please bring cash for entrance, food drink, programmes etc.

Persistent spells of rain throughout the day have put paid to the game, with the ground staff facing a battle to manage the amount of rain, on top of an already saturated playing surface, which left standing water in many areas.
Tickets will be held over to the re-arranged game and we will be in touch once we know when that is.
