  5. Bury Football Club is delighted to announce Infinity 21 as the club’s new streaming provider for the 2026/27 season. The new platform will allow supporters around the world to watch the Shakers live throughout the campaign, with a reliable, easy-to-use service designed specifically for live sport. Supporters will be able to purchase individual match passes for £9.99, while all matches will also be available to watch on demand for 30 days after the final whistle for £4.99. In addition, season ticket holders will be able to watch eligible matches streamed within the UK for the reduced price of just £4.99. Further details on which fixtures can be streamed domestically will be confirmed throughout the season, subject to broadcasting regulations. Infinity 21 also gives supporters the flexibility to catch up if they miss kick-off, with every streamed fixture available to watch back for 30 days. The platform is already used by clubs and competitions across British sport, including football, rugby, speedway and ice hockey, and brings more than 15 years of experience in delivering live sporting events. As with previous seasons, Saturday 3pm league fixtures will only be available to stream live outside the UK, in line with UEFA’s broadcasting regulations, with some exemptions possible, where regulation allows. Our home game on Tuesday night against Curzon Ashton, will be streamed live within the UK & internationally.   9. The Shakers open their Northern Premier League campaign with a trip to the seaside, making the 234 mile round trip to Redcar Athletic. After a title winning campaign, Anthony Johnson’s side come off a preseason which saw wins over Bacup Borough, Chorley, FC Isle of Man, Radcliffe and Wigan Athletic, and defeats to Accrington Stanley and Morecambe. This fixture marks the two sides first ever competitive league meeting. In Opposition – Redcar Athletic Nicknamed “The Steelmen”, Redcar Athletic mark a similar trajectory to Bury the past few seasons, with back to back promotions seeing them reach the Northern Premier League for the first time in their history. Established in 1993 as Teesside Athletic, the club stepped into the Wearside League in 2005, moving to Green Lane the same year. The club was renamed to Redcar Athletic in 2010, and have earned three promotions since 2021. Redcar’s preseason fixtures saw heavy defeats to Darlington and Middlesbrough U21s and Hartlepool, before beating Redcar Town, Guisborough and Morpeth.   16. The 25-year old winger arrives at Salford Van Hire Gigg Lane Stadium with a wealth of non-league experience over the last eight years. His career started in the AC Milan Academy at the age of 7 before relocating to England with his family at 15 years old. Spells at Stockport Town and Mossley followed, with Uchegbulam signing his first professional contract when he joined Chesterfield in July 2022. He was part of the Oldham side that achieved promotion back to the EFL in 2025, picking up the assist for James Norwood’s equaliser in extra-time. Most recently, he featured for Chelmsford City – scoring and assisting on his debut in the FA Cup – and spent a short time at Welsh Champions The New Saints before mutually agreeing to leave ahead of joining the Shakers.   18. The first week of the Bury Football Club Summer Holiday Camp has been a huge success, with children enjoying an action-packed programme of sport, games and activities throughout the week. With fantastic attendance and smiles all around, young participants have made new friends, developed their sporting skills and stayed active during the school holidays. From football sessions to fun team challenges and daily prizes, the atmosphere has been outstanding and has provided an enjoyable and inclusive experience for everyone involved. The Summer Holiday Camp is proudly supported by the HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) programme through Bury Council, helping to provide children with engaging activities and nutritious food during the holidays. The club would also like to thank GENUS Recycling for their generous sponsorship, their support has helped make the camp even better and ensured that local children can benefit from a memorable summer experience. Free tickets for our friendly fixture vs Radcliffe have been distributed to all participants today (Wednesday 29th July) and we have lots more giveaways and prizes in store.   21. We are delighted to confirm the signing of John Clarke ahead of the 2026/27 season. The 22-year-old left-back joins the Shakers following his departure from Reading, where he spent four years after signing in 2022. Clarke made his senior debut for the Royals before overcoming a serious knee ligament injury and gaining further experience on loan at National League South side Slough Town last season. Clarke made an immediate impression, scoring twice in last Tuesday night’s pre-season victory over Wigan Athletic U21s, and says Bury’s ambition and style of play made the move an easy decision. Manager Anthony Johnson believes Clarke has all the attributes to become an important player for the club.
