    The North West Counties Football League have released updated dates for the playoffs following Charnock Richard’s continuing progress in the playoff hunt. These are now: Play-off Semi-Finals 2nd v 5th and 3rd v 4th, Tuesday 30th April Play-off Final Winners of each Semi-Final, Saturday 4th May Ties are to be played at the home venue of the higher ranking side.     Ahead of the works to lay the 3G pitch this summer, a commemoration service will be held in honour of fans of the past, who’s ashes are present at Gigg Lane.   All are welcome to pay their respects, with the service taking place from 3pm, lead by the Rector of Bury Parish Church.
