Our women’s first team hosts Curzon Ashton FC Women this coming Sunday, where the Shakers will be looking to progress through to the third and final qualifying round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup. Currently sitting second in the table, Curzon Ashton have had a strong start to the season. There is no respite for the Shakers and the games keep coming! We follow our cracking 3-0 Emirates FA Cup victory at Blyth Spartans on Saturday by taking on local rivals Ramsbottom United at the Harry Williams Stadium in Rammy on Tuesday evening (kick-off 7.45pm). Following yesterday’s terrific 3-0 win away at Blyth Spartans in the Second Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup, we will be entered into tomorrow’s (Monday 16th) draw for the next round. We’d like to place on record our thanks to Macauley Wilson, who has departed the club today by mutual consent. Macauley joined us from Bamber Bridge in the summer, with a wealth of experience. He made nine competitive appearances for the club, scoring once against AFC Liverpool. Living in the Blackpool area, he was travelling a distance to commute for training & matches and has car shared with fellow players who live in the area but given recent injuries to those players, it’s foun
