    We are delighted to confirm the signing of striker Joe Duckworth. The 22-year-old joins the Shakers from Witton Albion in the Northern Premier League. He’s made 52 appearances for the club across their last two seasons, scoring 23 goals. Joe’s breakout season was at Winsford United in the 2018/19 season, which brought a total of 28 goals in 47 games across two seasons at the Barton Stadium.     Dave McNabb’s side come into Saturday’s game away at Chadderton with a full week of training behind them after last weekend’s emphatic win away at Barnoldswick Town.   A squad made up of mainly Under 23s featured in Tuesday night’s Manchester Cup tie away at Glossop North End, which ended 2-0 to the oppositions.   Shakeel Jones-Griffiths & Lewis Gilboy also featured in the squad for the midweek trip, giving them both an opportunity to step up into a senior role.

    Bury Football Club can announce the arrival of a further two additions, as midfielder Billy Reeves and defender Tom Moore joined this week following their free transfer from Bootle.     The club are sad to report that Jimmy Moore has informed us that he is hanging up his boots with immediate effect.   Jimmy arrived in Bury in 2020, amassing 85 appearances and six goals, as well as captaining the side on occassion.     Bury Football Club are delighted to confirm the signing of midfielder, Jordan Butterworth.   Jordan joins the Shakers from Northern Premier League side, Bamber Bridge.
