    A new era ensues as work to lay our new state-of-the-art 3G pitch begins, with sales of the Gigg Lane turf and penalty spot raffle now having finished.  All of turf is now cut up and in their seed trays ready for collection from the stadium.  For those that have purchased a piece of the hallowed Gigg Lane turf they will be available to collect at the following times this week:   1 pm – 3 pm Wednesday 8th 12noon – 3pm Thursday 9th 12noon – 3pm Friday 10th

    We have today (Tuesday) had further conversations with Greater Manchester Police, around crowd issues in the play off final at Ericstan Park on Saturday. The police will now be working through a process of identifying the people that encroached on the playing surface when we scored, and also the images on social media of fans fighting.     Bury Football Club wishes to condemn some of the supporter behaviour at our Play-Off Final at Ericstan Park on Saturday afternoon. We are a community club, and some of the scenes experienced in both the stands and again unfortunately on the pitch, are not acceptable. It cannot be stressed enough that any poor behaviour reflects on the club in a negative way and has led to severe punishment already during the season.
