This home cup-tie provides us with a double benefit: we can give Under-23s players game time and have an extra training session before the tough fixture against high-flying Lower Breck on Saturday.   It also gives fans a chance to get along to Gigg Lane to recall and celebrate our outstanding performance of the season. Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw against Charnock Richard proved that we won’

Curzon Ashton currently sit in third place in the Premier Division of the North West Women’s Regional Football League, six positions above Bury. Before last week, the two teams previously came head to head in Septem

We beat Charnock Richard 2-0 on their own ground barely three weeks ago, and this game is the second in a run of three against sides we have faced in the reverse fixture already, with Longridge the visitors to Gigg this Saturday.
