We can now announce that we will open our 2024/25 North West Counties Premier Division campaign with a trip to the seaside. We travel to the Fylde Coast to take on Squires Gate at The Brian Addison Stadium on Saturday 27th July. We then follow up with a clash against Padiham FC on Tuesday 30th July at the Ruby Civil Arena. Bury Football Club sadly lost another long-serving player recently on 19th June when central-defender Harry Bunner passed away at the age of 87. Harry joined the Shakers from Bury Amateurs in April 1957 and went on to appear in 105 league games for the club over the next eight years. These appearances included seven games in Bury’s Division Three Championship season of 1960/61 before he finally moved on to Stockport County in August 1965. We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Josh Gregory. The 26 year old joins the club from Northen Premier Side Prescot Cables. Josh started his playing career at Wigan before moving on to have stints with Chorley, Clitheroe and then Witton Albion before joining Prescot. We are saddened to hear of the passing of former Shaker Andy Rowland, aged 69.   Andy started out at Derby County his hometown club, before moving to Gigg Lane in 1974.   Rowland (above) leaps after scoring one of his 59 goals for the Shakers   He made 174 appearances for the club during this time at the club. In September 1978, he headed south to play for Swindon Town where he played for eight seasons. Rowland scored on his return to Gigg Lane

Juniors from across the borough are welcomed into Gigg Lane this Saturday as Bury Football Club step-up preparations for the 2024-25 season. The players of the future will be meeting players and staff from our first team squads on Saturday morning, as over 100 players across the new Junior section of the club sign-on for the new season. To celebrate this next step for the club, we are giving away a 100 U16s season tickets. To be in with a chance of winning one of these, you need t
