Bury Football Club has been informed by Manchester FA that an independent committee has decided that due to the offensive comments made by two supporters during our game against West Didsbury and Chorlton in September, we should be forced to play our next two home games behind closed doors. With the weather seemingly calming down since Tuesday’s game fell victim to days of endless rain, we shift our focus to this coming Saturday and the visit of Irlam FC. After going through the whole of December unbeaten in the North West Counties Premier League, Dave McNabb’s charges have eighteen games left in the hunt for the League title and promotion.
