Bury Football Club is extremely saddened to share the passing of Emily Wilcock, aged 27. Emily joined to play within the recreational setup two and a half years ago and was an very proud and committed member of the setup, barely missing a training session, taking part in extra summer sessions and attending social events with the squad. After Saturday’s disappointment in the FA Cup, league action returns to Gigg Lane on Tuesday night as Kendal Town are the visitors for our first competitive game under the lights. Our FA Cup journey continues as head over to Charnock Richard this weekend for the first preliminary round tie at Mossie Park. We overcame Uttoxeter Town in the last round, with a 4-1 win at Gigg Lane. Uttoxeter took the lead early in the first half from a deflected effort, before Lowe and Higgins took us into the break with a 2-1 lead.
