Last Thursday’s Open Training Session at Gigg Lane was a huge success with over 500 local children attending.   The queues began around 90 minutes before gates opened with every child looking to get their hands on one of the 100 free season tickets available. Our Extra Preliminary Round FA Cup tie against Uttoxeter Town will now be played at Gigg Lane on Saturday 5th August.   Following meetings between East Staffordshire County Council & the FA, it was deemed that the fixture should be reversed on safety grounds.   Further details including ticket sales will be released in due course.
