    This past Saturday The Shakers had their first taste of defeat in competitive action since returning to Gigg Lane in a 1-3 defeat to Chadderton.     Saturday 5th August 2023, the day that the world’s oldest national football competition, The FA Cup, returned to Gigg Lane. With The Shakers as the away side!
