Yesterday afternoon, members of our Men’s First Team, Women’s First Team and members of staff visited Fairfield General Hospital to spread some festive joy around the wards. Players handed out selection boxes and match tickets to patients & staff across several wards. Nicky Adams, Lewis Earl, Bobby Carroll, Bryan Ly, Brad Carroll, and Alik Babayan represented the Men’s first team, while Lily Metcalf and Sinead Nugent represented our Women’s first team, alongside Community Officer

Supporters attending today’s match at Gigg Lane are advised to allow extra time for travel and remain alert to Met Office weather warnings.   A yellow warning for wind has been issued by the Met Office for Greater Manchester from 3pm yesterday. We are delighted to confirm the signing of centre-back Aaron Chalmers, who joins us from Stalybridge Celtic, subject to NWCFL approval.   The 33-year-old, came through the ranks at Oldham Athletic, making it through to the first team to make two appearances.   After spells at Macclesfield Town and Hibernian, he dropped down the leagues to join Mossley in 2010, where he made 44 appearances and scored once.
