Gaz Peet: “I mean to get to this point of the season undefeated was unbelievable I think the lads have worked hard and are disappointed with today. It’s I think the manner of the goals we conceded we’re great and I don’t even remember the last time we give so many chances away to a team and it was just one of them days and we’ve had too many of them this season an

It also gives fans a chance to get along to Gigg Lane to recall and celebrate our outstanding performance of the season. The stunning 8-0 home win against Longridge gave morale a massive boost right across the club. And there will now be no NWCFL game at Gigg Lane until we entertain

It wouldn’t be surprising if Longridge Town come to Gigg Lane fired up with determination to take revenge for the 5-1 defeat we inflicted on them last month, when they visit Gigg Lane this weekend. It was a score that perhaps flattered the Shakers back in October, conceding three penalties in the game but after overcoming that storm and Mitch Allen saving two of the penalties, the result was empthatic in the end. Tuesday night’s 1-1 draw against Charnock Richard proved that we won’
