The 38-year-old began his footballing career with the Shakers, after coming through the club’s youth setup in the early 2000s. We are delighted to update you on the progress of the Gigg Lane Memorial Garden in conjunction with FGRS and Bury Council.   Our stadium volunteers have been hard at work and the project is expected to be completed in the new year, with FRGS overseeing a planting project and sensory space as part of their family workshops. On Boxing Day, the club is hosting a charitable fundraising event, which will benefit Bury Hospice and the North West Air Ambulance this year. These vital organisations rely heavily on charitable donations, with Bury Hospice requiring approximately £6.5 million annually to operate, and the Air Ambulance needing around £18 million.   This fundraiser is not only backed by our dedicated volunteers, but also by the club’s management and players.
