It’s been some start to the 2024/25 campaign for Dave McNabb and his team, going unbeaTEN in all competitions and finding the back of the net a spectaclar 34 times in the process. There have been outstanding performances across the pitch and now it’s your time to pick your first player of the month of the season. Voting closes at 7pm tomorrow evening ahead of the game against South Liverpool at Gigg Lane.    

We return to league action tomorrow evening, with the visit of South Liverpool to Gigg Lane.   Dave McNabb’s side made it 10 games unbeaten in all competitions, with a 2-0 win away at Garforth Town, booking in our place in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. Our women’s first team hosts Mancunian Unity FC on Sunday, following a second consecutive win at Gigg Lane, with the Shakers looking to make it nine points in three games.   Following their promotion from Division One North, Mancunian Unity currently sit seventh in the table. Dave McNabb has offered a status update on the players currently on the injured list at Gigg Lane below ahead of this weekend’s FA Cup tie with Garforth Town.   Macauley Wilson – Macauley limped out of Monday’s match with Cheadle Town late on with a knee injury. We head into the FA Cup once again this weekend as we face NPL East side Garforth Town in the First Qualifying Round.   Dave McNabb’s side come into the game off the back of Bank Holiday Monday’s 3-0 win against Cheadle Town. Alex Cherera picked up a brace and Ruben Jerome also bagged a goal.   Bury currently sit in 5th place, five points behind league leaders Ramsbottom, but we have played two fewer games than our neighbours.
