Dave McNabb’s side come into Saturday’s game away at Chadderton with a full week of training behind them after last weekend’s emphatic win away at Barnoldswick Town. A squad made up of mainly Under 23s featured in Tuesday night’s Manchester Cup tie away at Glossop North End, which ended 2-0 to the oppositions. Bury Football Club can announce the arrival of a further two additions, as midfielder Billy Reeves and defender Tom Moore joined this week following their free transfer from Bootle. Both players joined McNabb at Bootle in the summer, alongside other new players Andy Scarisbrick and Charlie Doyle, and bring in significant experience from their time in the Northern Premier League. The club are sad to report that Jimmy Moore has informed us that he is hanging up his boots with immediate effect. Jimmy arrived in Bury in 2020, amassing 85 appearances and six goals, as well as captaining the side on occassion.
