There will be 747 clubs from across the English National League System involved in the Emirates FA Cup next season, following the release of clubs accepted for the 2025-26 campaign. Dave McNabb has spoken of his plans and expectations for his team during pre-season. The Shakers will play their first friendly away at Atherton LR next Saturday. With the squad already back in training ahead of the 2025/26 season, the manager was in bullish mood. “It’s started really well,” he explained. “The lads have come back in really good condition physically. In May 2023, we sadly lost our very own Amanda ‘Mandy’ Freeman. A supporter of Bury for many years, she was always keen to support the club in as many ways as she could. Following her passing, her friends and the wider club volunteers came together to sponsor the number six home and away shirts in her name.
