That’s why we need our fans to come out in numbers to get Gigg Lane bouncing! We are currently third – two points behind Chadderton on top and one behind Ramsbottom United in second. Neither has a league game this weekend, so…Up the Shakers – to the top!!! The ups and downs of recent results have been frustrating for everyone, but

We face yet another tough test with this visit to Irlam, but go into the game buoyed up by a stunning 4-0 performance against Colne. It was a day on which our skill was backed up by grit and determination. Everyone – not least manager Dave McNabb – was embarrassed by the abysmal midweek performance against Litherland REMYCA. So we’re back on track for our vital December run of fixtures. We were without suspended Ben Hockenhull, but were boosted by the last-minute signing of tou

We welcome Colne to Gigg Lane determined to bounce back from our disappointing start to a month which may well prove vital in our bid for promotion. That 3-1 defeat at Litherland REMYCA was hard to take, but hey! – football’s always about a new start with the next match. We beat Colne 2-0 at their place at the end of October, with second-half goals from Ben Hockenhull and Connor Pye. Since then, we’ve won two and lost two and Colne have won two, drawn one and lost one.
