We are delighted to announce the signing of attacking midfielder Owen Robinson from Marine for an undisclosed compensation fee. The 22-year-old joins us after two years in Crosby. Robinson started out at AFC Fylde before moving to Sunderland. He made 45 National League North appearances last year after being part of the side which were promoted from the Northern Premier League in the previous campaign. We’re proud to announce that we will take on near neighbours Radcliffe as part of our 2025/26 pre-season campaign, with the Paul Hilton Trophy up for grabs in an inaugural fixture which will take place annually with alternating venues every summer, this year taking place at Neuven Stadium on Saturday 26th July, 3pm kick-off. The tie pays tribute to late Radcliffe Chairman Paul Hilton who passed away suddenly at the end of September, a week before the two sides met in the Third Qualifying Round
