Bury Football Club sends its deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Roy Parnell, who passed away on 10th September, aged 81. Roy began his career as a youth player with Everton, signed professional forms on his seventeenth birthday and made his Toffees debut before turning eighteen. In three years as a professional he appeared in three games for Everton, all being away games. We can now confirm ticketing arrangements for our rearranged Isuzu FA Trophy tie against Runcorn Linnets next Tuesday evening (30th September). The game will once again take place at the Apec Taxis Stadium, with kick-off at 7:45pm. Tickets are now on sale. After having to replay our previous FA Trophy tie due to player ineligibility, we now face a re-arranged fixture against Runcorn Linnets on Tuesday night. Trafford FC welcome Bury FC to Shawe View on Tuesday, October 7th kick off 19:45 for the first ever league game between the two sides. A larger than average crowd is expected.
