We are pleased to announce that for the restart of men’s football down at Gigg Lane, we will be welcoming two huge local sides on a Saturday-Sunday double-header in early July.   To kick us off Mark Hughes brings his League Two outfit Bradford City to town on Saturday 8th July, 3pm.   Following this up, and he needs no introduction to the Bury faithful, Ryan Lowe brings his Championship-side Preston North End to Gigg Lane on Sunday 9th July, also a 3pm kick-off.

The 23-year-old joined the club in August after leaving Atherton LR and signed a contract in December until the end of the 2022/23 season, which has been extended for a further year.
