We are delighted to be bringing back the hugely popular Gigg Lane Funfair & Fireworks display on the 3rd November 2023. There will be pop up artisan food and drink stalls providing refreshments and a funfair for all the family before the spectacular fireworks display inside Gigg Lane. After last weekend’s FA Cup tie was called off against Radcliffe Women at Unsworth Cricket Club, we can confirm the rearranged tie will take place at Gigg Lane this Sunday (8th October). 2pm kick-off. This afternoon’s Women’s FA Cup Second Qualifying Round tie against Radcliffe has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch. The amount of rain sustained in the last few days has resulted in a large amount of standing water in key areas of the playing surface (as pictured right).
